Our client is a leader in the food distribution industry with multiple locations across Canada, and are looking for an accounts receivable clerk to join their team.

About the role:
This role will be reporting into the Controller and be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

• Collection calls
• Cash applications
• Monitoring outstanding customer accounts
• Account reconciliations
• Credit notes
• Resolving any customer discrepancies
• Ad-hoc tasks as needed.

About you:

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role
• Completion of Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Experience with MS Excel is a strong Asset
• Must have experience working with accounting software
• Must be able to work in the office 5 days a week
