Location: New Brunswick
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 42.5 hours per week (Occasional overtime as required)
Compensation: $25.00 per hour + benefits (60/40 employer–employee split)
License Requirement: Valid Class 3 or Class 1 with Air Brake (Q) Endorsement
About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established Lumber & Building Materials supplier serving residential and commercial construction projects across New Brunswick, is seeking an experienced Boom Truck Operator to join their growing team.
This role is critical in ensuring safe, accurate, and on-time delivery of building materials to job sites while maintaining high safety and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate boom truck to safely deliver and place building materials at customer job sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with provincial regulations
Load and secure materials properly to prevent damage during transport
Safely operate crane/boom to place materials in designated areas
Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard staff, and customers
Ensure all deliveries meet company safety and service standards
Maintain accurate delivery documentation
The Successful Candidate Will Have
Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s license in New Brunswick
Air Brake (Q) Endorsement required
Proven experience operating a boom truck or crane (LBM industry experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of load securement and safety regulations
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Clean driver’s abstract
Preferred Experience
Experience delivering lumber, drywall, roofing, or other building materials
Familiarity with residential and commercial construction sites
Crane certification, if applicable
