Field Operations Manager – Residential Construction

Location: Nashville, TN
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 base + Commission / Bonus + Benefits + Perks

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Field Operations Manager to oversee the operational execution across multiple build sites. You will ensure delivery, safety, quality, and operational excellence for residential projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate field operations across multiple projects, ensuring consistency in execution, standards, and safety.

  • Lead site supervisors, superintendents, and field staff; coach, mentor, hold accountable.

  • Enforce safety protocols, quality checks, and code compliance in every phase.

  • Remove operational roadblocks, escalate issues, and coordinate with PMs and suppliers.

  • Track and report on field KPIs (labor efficiency, schedule adherence, quality metrics).

  • Partner with estimating, procurement, and project teams for resource planning and scheduling.

  • Lead continuous improvement: process optimization, standardization, training.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in residential field operations or construction management roles.

  • Proven ability to lead across multiple job sites and teams.

  • Strong working knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and quality control.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Experience with scheduling / field reporting tools.
