THE COMPANY
Our client is a passionate and multi-disciplinary firm in the design industry who has earned a strong reputation for their holistic and sustainable approach to project design and implementation. This firm are currently seeking a Proposal and Marketing Specialist in Edmonton, Alberta.

THE JOB
The role will encompass:

• Prepares strategic quality responses to RFPs, RFQs
• Work with architects and others in the firm to develop content, work with layout, images, presentation and details to produce high quality proposals
• Prepares corporate-level and market sector content including firm information, project experience and team resumes
• Prepares and designs marketing materials for award submissions, exhibits, and company participation in promotional events, grand openings, conventions, seminars, and community/industry related events
• Produces social media and website content, graphics and other marketing material
• Prepares project work content including graphics and reports
• Defines and contributes to the proposal response plan, schedule, and internal communications associated with the proposal development including follow-up with the contributors

WHAT’S REQUIRED

• Minimum of 1 to 8 years’ experience working in a role creating proposals within Architecture, Engineering or Construction, preferably for large scale projects
• Advanced technical proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites including InDesign and Photoshop
• Technical proficiency with MS Office Suite; other programs an asset
• Excellent business writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Eye for design and layout, good creative skills
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Positive, self-motivated, confident, energetic
• Based in Alberta
• Proven track record of developing successful marketing campaigns and proposals.
