Salary: 90k – 100k + (Based on Experience)Fully on site

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing, dynamic team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions for tenancy fit-outs and new build projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a passion for mentoring junior staff while remaining hands-on with project work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical engineering design for tenancy build-outs, renovations, and new construction projects.

  • Prepare design calculations, specifications, and drawings for lighting, power distribution, fire/life safety, and low-voltage systems.

  • Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

  • Conduct site reviews, inspections, and commissioning as required.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, providing technical oversight and knowledge sharing.

  • Manage client expectations and provide technical advice throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (P. Eng designation preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering design, ideally within consulting engineering firms.

  • Experience with tenancy fit-outs and new build commercial projects in Toronto.

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.

  • Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code, CEC, and building codes.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
