What You’ll Do

• Lead cross-functional teams to advance major strategic site initiatives and development plans.

• Build future-focused site strategies and evaluate new technologies that expand long-term generation potential.

• Drive project execution with clarity, momentum, and strong project-management discipline.

• Engage with Indigenous communities, municipalities, and stakeholders to build trust and alignment.

• Track policy, regulatory, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.

• Partner with engineering to assess site readiness and long-term infrastructure needs.

• Represent the organization in industry forums and build relationships with sector partners and technology innovators.

• Deliver compelling executive-level insights and recommendations.

• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across project teams.

 

Who You Are

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; P.Eng or PMP is a strong asset.

• 6+ years in strategy, business development, or project management within energy, utilities, or infrastructure.

• A strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and emerging technologies.

• A strong communicator who builds trust with diverse stakeholders — from Indigenous communities to senior executives.

• A problem-solver who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments.

• Highly organized, decisive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

• A motivating leader who inspires teams and drives results.

 

Compensation

Competitive Canadian market range for strategic energy development roles:

• Base Salary: $120,000 – $160,000+

• Performance-based incentives may apply.
