HVAC Technical Service Representative

We are seeking a HVAC Technical Service Representative to join their existing team in the lower mainland.
Position Overview
The HVAC Technical Service Representative will play a key role in supporting contractors, customers, and internal teams by providing product training, troubleshooting assistance, and technical guidance related to heat pumps and ductless HVAC systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct educational sessions for HVAC professionals on the proper setup, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling equipment, including mini-split and heat pump systems.
- Act as the senior point of contact for complex service-related issues, assisting technicians with diagnosing system malfunctions such as control board failures, communication faults, operational errors, and performance concerns through phone, virtual, and onsite support.
- Evaluate and process warranty-related cases by reviewing technical details, identifying root causes, and assisting with claim resolutions.
- Assist in maintaining and reviewing technical resources such as installation instructions, engineering submittals, product specifications, service procedures, and operational documentation.
- Investigate recurring equipment issues and analyze service trends to distinguish between manufacturing defects and installation-related concerns, then communicate findings to production teams for quality improvement.
- Provide ongoing product and technical assistance to contractors, clients, and internal departments, ensuring timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the HVAC industry, specifically involving technical service, diagnostics, field support, or equipment training related to air conditioning systems, heat pumps, or ductless technologies in residential and/or commercial applications.
- Strong understanding of HVAC system operation and troubleshooting practices; previous installation experience is considered beneficial.
- Experience delivering technical instruction or supporting contractors and customers in a service-focused environment is preferred.
- Must possess the required industry certifications and valid trade licenses.
- Ability to travel periodically for field support and training assignments
