Our client manufactures, distributes, and services specific products for the construction Industry. They are a successful owner operated company and growing!

About the role:
Reporting directly to the business owner, and part of the Leadership team, your strengths will be speaking finance to non finance plant, operations, and warehouse staff. You will love multi-tasking, wearing many hats and a variety in your day-to-day work. You will manage relationships and have frequent interactions with other company leaders, staff, contractors, vendors, and customers and the outside CPA Firm.

Responsibilities include:

• Full cycle project accounting including cash applications, accounts payable and PO maintenance
• Management of Project expenses
• Inventory calculations
• Month end accounting and variance analysis reports including P&L statement per project
• Cash flow management including bank reconciliations.
• HST returns

Qualifications:

• CPA or equivalent
• 10+ yrs of progressive full cycle accounting experience, ideally working autonomously or in a small team.
• 3+ yrs in a management or supervisory role
• Construction or related manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Proficiency required in Quickbook Online and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You have strong interpersonal skills, are mature, professional, reliable and looking for long term stability.
