Our professional and private, corporate client in the downtown core is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee all aspects of accounts payable and serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. This is a fast paced, high volume corporate office where “white glove service” is expected.     Reporting to the Controller, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Invoice management - review invoices for proper authorization
• Payment Processing - all forms of payments - from wires, manual cheques and EFT's. 
• Multi-currency transactions and reconciliations
• All Vendor communication 
• Record Keeping
• Credit Card reconciliations
  

Qualifications:

• 8+ years full cycle Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a shared services environment 
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principals
• Experience using JD Edwards is an asset. Strong Excel skills are a MUST
• Excellent English communication skills are required - written and oral
