This reputable and recognized Architecture and Design firm in Edmonton is looking to add a talented and aspiring Architect to their dynamic team. This firm have a broad portfolio of work and are committed to design excellent and outstanding service delivery.

THE ROLE

• Collaborate with Principal Architects to coordinate design through various phases
• Work collaboratively with technologist, architects and designers in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail problems.
• Prepares presentations and presents design concepts
• Maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the Project Team
• Participates in team meetings to help resolve project issues, coordination with other disciplines, schedule adherence, and technical issues.
• Communicates in a clear, concise, and professional manner at all times, both verbally and in writing
• Project Management
• Liaison with municipal authorities and other stakeholders
• Document Control and preparing permit documentation
  

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• To be successful in this role, you will be Graduated from a University within Canada
• 10+ years of industry experience, with at least 5 years working with Canadian building codes/bylaws
• Some large public or institutional work from within Canada is required
• Strong Project Management skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines is also essential.
• Excellent team player, enjoys collaborating and being committed to project work
• Enjoy working collaboratively and wish to develop your career
• Based in Alberta, preferably Edmonton and available to meet with clients
