Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 42.5 hours per week
Compensation: $22.00 per hour + benefits (60/40 employer–employee split)
About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established building materials supplier serving contractors and retail customers across New Brunswick, is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 5 Driver to operate both cube trucks and flatdeck trucks for local deliveries.
This is a home-daily role ideal for someone who takes pride in customer service, job site professionalism, and safe material handling.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Class 5 vehicles, including cube trucks and flatdeck trucks
Deliver building materials to residential and commercial job sites
Secure loads properly using straps and tie-downs
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Assist with loading and unloading materials (forklift experience considered an asset)
Provide professional and courteous service to contractors and customers
Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs
Follow all provincial and company safety regulations
The Successful Candidate Will Have
Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
Experience operating cube trucks and/or flatdeck trucks
Strong understanding of load securement practices
Experience in building materials, construction supply, or similar industry preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
Forklift certification considered an asset
