Full Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: $75,000 to $90,000* + Benefits *commensurate with experience
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide assessment and targeted treatment services within rehabilitation programs to address psychosocial, cognitive, and emotional barriers impacting recovery and return-to-work with a primary focus on WSIB-funded return-to-work rehabilitation.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct psychological assessments related to workplace injury and disability
- Treatment focus on:
- Pain-related distress and chronic pain behaviours
- Anxiety, depression, adjustment, and trauma responses
- Fear-avoidance, catastrophizing, and reduced self-efficacy
- Work readiness, cognitive demands, and functional tolerance
- Treatment focus on:
- Identify psychosocial barriers impacting recovery and RTW
- Deliver short-term, evidence-based interventions (CBT, ACT, pain-focused therapy)
- Support functional restoration and RTW readiness
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences
- Prepare clear, timely WSIB-compliant clinical reports
What’s Required
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
- Registered with The College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO)
- Experience in WSIB, occupational rehab, disability, or chronic pain preferred
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
