Position: Financial Analyst - Pricing
Location: Scarborough IN-OFFICE
Salary: $80,000-$85,000 +benefits, bonus, RRSP match

Our client is a long-established, market leader, in the food manufacturing business specializing in a niche market.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position is responsible for performing and/or assisting with all reporting, planning, pricing, and analysis within the Finance function. Duties included but not limited to:

• Assist with customer pricing, product profitability, standard costing, and business partnering to various departments
• Assist with new product price bidding incorporating manufacturing costs
• Assist with quarterly pricing updates for existing customers
• Conduct pre-evaluations and post mortems of significant capital investments
• Assist with the analysis and understanding of month-end results, including net sales, gross margin breakdown, root cause analysis, customer rebate analysis, and volume/rate/mix analyses, evaluation & tracking
• Track and maintain Operations KPI’s
• Work on special projects and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree, CPA designation or pursuing is preferred
• 3+ years of related experience in a financial, cost, and/or pricing analyst function, preferably within a CPG manufacturing/production line environment
• Exposure to manufacturing (standard costing/production variance analysis etc.) is required
• Outstanding Excel and modelling skills and competent working with large data sets using a variety of systems
• Strong ERP experience - SAP and Power BI preferred
