Title: Head of Product Development
Location: Greater Vancouver (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Managing Director
Compensation: CAD $125,000 – $135,000

We are partnering with a growing and well-established organization in the consumer health space to identify a Head of Product Development to lead formulation, process development, and commercialization activities across a diverse product portfolio.

This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for driving innovation, optimizing formulations, and leading a high-performing technical team. The portfolio includes regulated consumer health products, with a strong focus on solid dosage and liquid formats and cannabinoid-based formulations.

The Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Lead end-to-end product development from concept through commercialization
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across formulation and process development
  • Influence product strategy, cost optimization, and technical direction
  • Lead scale-up and technical transfer into manufacturing
  • Build and develop a high-performing product development team
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, quality, regulatory, procurement, and commercial teams

What You Bring

  • Comprehensive experience spanning product development, formulation, and process development within a GMP-regulated environment
  • Strong expertise in solid dosage formulation (e.g., tablets, powders, chewables, gums) and beverages
  • Experience working within consumer health categories such as dietary supplements, food, cannabinoids, or pharmaceuticals
  • Demonstrated success in scale-up, process optimization, and commercialization
  • Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Note:  Candidates require the authorization to work in Canada.
