Site Superintendent – New Build Affordable Housing (ICI)

Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 (based on experience)
Project Type: Ground-Up Affordable Housing | Mid-Rise

We are representing a well-established contractor seeking a Site Superintendent for an active ground-up affordable housing project in the GTA. The project is approximately $24M, mid-rise (6 storeys), and currently under construction.

This role is well suited for a Superintendent with solid new build ICI or multi-residential experience, comfortable stepping into a live project and carrying it through to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day on-site operations for a ground-up affordable housing build

  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, inspections, and deliveries

  • Enforce site safety, quality standards, and OHSA requirements

  • Manage construction sequencing, schedules, and site logistics

  • Work closely with the project management and consultant teams

  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings and specifications

  • Maintain site documentation, logs, and progress reporting

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Superintendent on ground-up projects

  • Exposure to ICI or multi-residential construction preferred

  • Experience on projects in the $15M–$30M range considered an asset

  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage an active site with multiple trades

Compensation:

  • $120,000 – $140,000, commensurate with experience
