About:
Our client is a Canadian-owned and operated engineering consulting firm specialized in geotechnical and environmental consultation and project management. Offering assistance on a variety of projects from construction monitoring, to bridge replacements, and sanitary sewer extensions to public and private entities. 

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and support in the project management process.
  • Work closely with clients through the design and construction process, manage the application and permitting process with municipalities.
  • Maintaining and cultivate positive business relationships with existing and prospective clients, external bodies, and internal team.
  • Frequent travel to project sites (within Ontario, GTA).
  • Ability to oversee borehole drilling, geotechnical assessments.
  • Conduct design, analysis, report writing for projects.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
  • Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principals and practices. 
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in an Engineering role.
  • Ability to assist in office management, client interfacing, and business development.
  • Positive attitude, perseverance, grit, and ability to roll with the punches of new sales and business development.
  • Problem-solving skills, handling issues with tact and responsibility internally and externally.
  • Coachability, be open to working with the senior leadership team to improve your game, take advice and implement new strategies.
  • College or University education mandatory, Bachelors degree or Diploma mandatory. Masters education is preferred.
  • P.Eng certification through PEO is mandatory, or ability to certify.
  • Experience in projects related to pavement design, tunnelling, slope stability, railways, water infrastructure, and land development is highly preferred.
  • Must have a valid license and/or means of transportation to visit project sites.
  • AutoCAD, MS Office.
