Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager / Estimator with a background in damage restoration and construction. This individual will play a key role in developing and managing projects across Ottawa and surrounding areas. As this is a newly created position, the successful candidate must be highly self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently while building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage restoration projects from initial assessment through to completion

  • Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate software

  • Conduct site inspections for residential and commercial loss claims

  • Coordinate with insurance adjusters, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules

  • Monitor project progress, costs, and timelines to ensure successful delivery

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, insurers, and industry partners

  • Identify opportunities to grow and develop the Ottawa territory

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in damage restoration

  • Strong construction background with both residential and commercial projects

  • Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software is required

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong understanding of insurance claims and restoration processes

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a new territory

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
