Receptionist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls to the receptionist line
  • Greet and guide office visitors, creating a welcoming environment
  • Conduct outbound calls as necessary
  • Assist the Office Manager and executives in various tasks as needed
  • Assist with the general upkeep of the office
  • Coordinate and prepare meeting rooms
  • Help prepare sales packages and various documentation such as typing purchase orders
  • Help prepare presentations for upper management
  • Responsible for organizing courier services and keeping office inventory stocked
  • Manage workplace security
  • Support Accounting

Receptionist Qualifications:

  • Ideally 3-5 years experience as a receptionist
  • Exposure to the real estate or construction industry is an asset
  • Exposure to accounting preferred
  • Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Willingness to take initiative for any task that needs assistance
  • Engages in a positive and professional atmosphere
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Ability to work well on a team
