Receptionist Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls to the receptionist line
- Greet and guide office visitors, creating a welcoming environment
- Conduct outbound calls as necessary
- Assist the Office Manager and executives in various tasks as needed
- Assist with the general upkeep of the office
- Coordinate and prepare meeting rooms
- Help prepare sales packages and various documentation such as typing purchase orders
- Help prepare presentations for upper management
- Responsible for organizing courier services and keeping office inventory stocked
- Manage workplace security
- Support Accounting
Receptionist Qualifications:
- Ideally 3-5 years experience as a receptionist
- Exposure to the real estate or construction industry is an asset
- Exposure to accounting preferred
- Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational aptitude
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Willingness to take initiative for any task that needs assistance
- Engages in a positive and professional atmosphere
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to work well on a team
