Employment Type: 9–12 Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Compensation: $52–$60/hour

Position Overview

This opportunity will be of particular interest to professionals with experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical sales seeking a high-impact, field-based role within a regulated environment.

A growing organization in the medical cannabis and regulated healthcare space is seeking a relationship-driven Territory Manager to support the expansion of its medical cannabis portfolio across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. This is a high-impact contract role focused on education, engagement, and building trusted partnerships within clinical settings.

This opportunity is well suited for a candidate who thrives in a field-based, autonomous role, brings a strong understanding of regulated healthcare environments, and can quickly establish credibility with healthcare professionals. The initial term is anticipated to be 9–12 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Physician & Clinic Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinic teams
  • Deliver in-clinic and virtual educational sessions on medical cannabis products, formats, and patient use (non-promotional)
  • Support clinics in optimizing patient onboarding and workflows related to medical cannabis access and use
  • Maintain consistent communication to ensure high levels of engagement and satisfaction

Territory Management & Growth

  • Execute territory strategies to drive adoption and achieve targets for the medical cannabis portfolio
  • Identify and develop new clinic partnerships and expansion opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and stakeholder interactions
  • Represent the organization at conferences, events, and industry forums

Regulatory & Compliance Excellence

  • Operate within all applicable federal and provincial regulations governing medical cannabis and healthcare products
  • Ensure all interactions, materials, and communications meet compliance standards
  • Stay current with evolving guidelines, including Health Canada regulations

Market Insights & Collaboration

  • Gather insights from clinics and healthcare providers to inform medical cannabis product and market strategies
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, competitive activity, and market trends
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support execution

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical sales
  • Proven success in relationship-based, consultative selling environments
  • Experience engaging with healthcare professionals and clinical teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Bilingual (French and English) required
  • Ability to travel regularly across Ontario and Atlantic Canada (including periodic multi-week travel)
  • Valid full driver’s licence (Class G in Ontario or Class 5 in Atlantic Canada, or provincial equivalent) with a clean driving record and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Candidates require the legal authority to work in Canada

Preferred

  • Experience in medical cannabis or other regulated product categories (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc.)
  • Existing relationships within clinics or healthcare networks
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and virtual engagement tools

Additional Details

  • Candidates may be based in Ontario or Atlantic Canada
  • This is a contract role as an employee of TalentSphere and is is open to individual applicants only and is not structured for consulting companies or incorporated service providers
  • Compensation is structured on an hourly basis ($52–$60/hour), aligned to experience
  • Candidates must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, field-based environment with immediate impact
