Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 + bonus + benefits ( or more for the right candidate, feel free to apply if you are above this pay range or in a much more senior role)
About the Opportunity
A growing, modern North York boutique public accounting firm is seeking a US Tax Manager to join its expanding cross-border tax practice.
This is a technical US tax role (1040, 1120, 1065, 1041) with exposure to cross-border structures involving Canadian and US entities, within a firm that is scaling its US tax practice and investing heavily in technology and client service delivery.

Responsibilities
- Prepare US tax returns including:
- 1040 (individuals)
- 1120 (corporations)
- 1065 (partnerships)
- 1041 (trusts & estates)
- Review and manage complex US tax compliance files
- Work closely with Canadian tax teams on cross-border matters
- Support tax planning and advisory discussions
- Occasionally assist with related compilation / financial statement work
- Manage client relationships and file workflow independently
Ideal Candidate Profile
- US CPA designation OR 5+ years US tax experience in public accounting
- Strong technical expertise in US federal tax compliance
- Experience with multiple entity types (corporations, partnerships, trusts)
- Comfortable managing files independently
- Exposure to cross-border (US–Canada) clients is an asset
- Canadian tax knowledge is an asset but not required
