Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 + bonus + benefits ( or more for the right candidate, feel free to apply if you are above this pay range or in a much more senior role)

About the Opportunity

A growing, modern North York boutique public accounting firm is seeking a US Tax Manager to join its expanding cross-border tax practice.

This is a technical US tax role (1040, 1120, 1065, 1041) with exposure to cross-border structures involving Canadian and US entities, within a firm that is scaling its US tax practice and investing heavily in technology and client service delivery.

     Responsibilities

  • Prepare US tax returns including:
    • 1040 (individuals)
    • 1120 (corporations)
    • 1065 (partnerships)
    • 1041 (trusts & estates)
  • Review and manage complex US tax compliance files
  • Work closely with Canadian tax teams on cross-border matters
  • Support tax planning and advisory discussions
  • Occasionally assist with related compilation / financial statement work
  • Manage client relationships and file workflow independently

      Ideal Candidate Profile

  • US CPA designation OR 5+ years US tax experience in public accounting
  • Strong technical expertise in US federal tax compliance
  • Experience with multiple entity types (corporations, partnerships, trusts)
  • Comfortable managing files independently
  • Exposure to cross-border (US–Canada) clients is an asset
  • Canadian tax knowledge is an asset but not required
