OUR CLIENT
This award winning Architecture, Design and Planning firm is currently hiring for a talented and well rounded Project Architect to add to their team. This firm strives for excellence and produce high a level of Architecture and Design whilst fostering  a collaborative and productive workspace for their staff. 

THE JOB
As a Project Architect you will be involved in the following:

• Develop a wide range of high quality architectural designs in collaboration with clients and design teams, that meet parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements
• Project Management; site visits and client management
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
• Maintain project manual and specifications
• Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during construction; contract administration duties
• Prepare and coordinate presentation materials to ensure project documentation is complete and accurate 
• Perform programming, code research, material and building systems research, site surveys and field reviews, laying out program components and calculating program and building areas 
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff
• Contribute to proposals
• Work collaboratively with other architects and staff to ensure successful project delivery
• Liaise with municipal authorities and other stakeholders

WHAT'S REQUIRED

• Possess a Masters Degree in Architecture 
• Registration as an Architect with relevant association strongly preferred but also willing to look at Intern Architects with sufficient experience 
• Possess at least 8+ years of experience 
• Proficient in design skills, good technical aptitude - able to use Revit 
• Have experience in architectural design presentation 
• Ability to do all phases of contract administration
• Good project management skills are an asset
• Possess superior time management, communication and problem solving skills
• Demonstrate an ability to coordinate with other team members and to collaborate with other professional disciplines
