Mechanical Technologist / Designer / Engineer
Location: Edmonton, AB
Salary Range: $65,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience and designation)
We are currently partnering with a well-established building consulting engineering firm in Edmonton that is looking to add a Mechanical Technologist, Designer, or Engineer to their growing team. This opportunity is well suited for someone with hands-on experience in the building consultancy / consulting engineering space who is looking to continue developing their technical and project exposure.
The Role
Depending on your experience level, responsibilities may include:

Mechanical system design for building projects (HVAC, plumbing, and related systems)

Preparation of drawings, layouts, and construction documents

Coordination with electrical, structural, and architectural teams

Supporting project delivery from concept through construction

Assisting with site reviews, field reports, and contract administration

Working closely with senior engineers and project managers on active projects
What We’re Looking For:
-
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field

Experience working within a consulting engineering / building services environment

Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems for buildings

Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
-
Familiarity with applicable codes and standards

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

Compensation:

$65,000 – $95,000, depending on experience level and whether the role aligns at the technologist, designer, or engineer level
