Product Development Specialists - Future Hiring - Late Summer/Fall
Location: Greater Vancouver, BC (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: CAD $60,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and relevant product development expertise.
About the Opportunity
TalentSphere is recruiting on behalf of our client for anticipated Product Development hiring needs for the late summer and fall of 2026. We are interested in connecting with Product Development professionals ranging from early-career formulators to experienced specialists with expertise in dietary supplements, natural health products, cannabinoids, food products, and related consumer health categories.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development, optimization, and commercialization of innovative products within a collaborative manufacturing and R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product development projects from concept through commercialization.
- Develop, optimize, and evaluate formulations and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in product testing, scale-up, and manufacturing transfer activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and development records.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and external partners to support successful product launches.
- Provide technical support during pilot and commercial production activities while adhering to applicable quality and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nutrition, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience in product development, formulation, process development, or commercialization within dietary supplements, natural health products, cannabinoids, food, consumer health products, or related industries.
- Experience with one or more product formats such as tablets, capsules, powders, gummies, chewables, soft gels, liquids, beverages, topicals, or other consumer product formats.
- Knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, or regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
