Project Manager – New Build ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional)

Location: Vaughan
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 base salary + bonus + comprehensive benefits

Position Overview

Our client is a reputable and well-established General Contractor specializing in ground-up Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) construction projects across Southern Ontario. Due to a strong and growing pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion.

This role is well-suited to a Project Manager with proven new build ICI experience who is looking to take ownership of complex projects within a stable and professionally run organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle, ground-up projects from pre-construction to close-out

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

  • Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams

  • Administer contracts, change orders, and procurement activities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

  • Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reporting

  • Work closely with site Superintendents to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution

  • Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with contractual, safety, and quality standards

Project Portfolio

  • Ground-up ICI developments

  • Typical project values ranging from $10M to $80M+

  • Multi-disciplinary, multi-trade construction environments

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor

  • Demonstrated experience delivering ground-up ICI projects

  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost management

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
